Back to School Lunch Wrap

Kick off the school year with a quick and delicious lunch wrap recipe that’s easy to make, kid-approved, and perfect for fueling busy school days!

Ingredients

  • Whole Grain Wrap

  • 1/2 cup Cream Cheese

  • 2 Tbs Organic DFF Chives, chopped

  • 2 Tbs Pesto (preferably homemade using organic DFF basil)

  • 1/2 cucumber thinly sliced -1 handful of organic mixed greens

  • 1 carrot, shredded **pickled carrots or shredded pickled beets would add acid to help cut the richness of the cheeses

  • Turkey (or choice deli meat, could sub hummus for a veggie option)

  • Provolone cheese (can omit this layer of cheese if the cream cheese is enough!)

  • Organic DFF Rainbow Mix Microgreens (can use any microgreens (adds extra nutrients!)

Instructions

    • Prep the veggies—cucumbers, carrots, wash microgreens and chives
    • Mix cream cheese with 1 Tbs water + 2 Tbs chopped chives
    • Spread on the layers
    • 1. Chive cream cheese
    • 2. Pesto
    • 3. Cucumbers
    • 4. Greens
    • 5. Carrots
    • 6. Turkey
    • 7. Provolone Cheese
    • 8. Microgreens
    • 9. Roll and cut into pieces! Enjoy!!
